Glänzende Revuekarriere

(INFORMATION IN ENGLISH SEE BELOW)

Information in English:

Eva Pawlik started an outstanding career as a professional skater. She was the leading lady of the Vienna Ice Revue (annually appr. 300 performances all over Europe (including Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, France, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, and even the Soviet Union) and North Africa (Algier and Oran) from 1949 to 1954, was then starring in the German Scala Eisrevue and returning to the Vienna Ice Revue until she retired from professional skating in 1961. Morris Chalfen, the boss of Holiday On Ice, considered Pawlik Europe´s best show star on the ice since the legendary Sonja Henie.

Eva was an all-rounder. She was not only that successful as a professional single skater, but also as a pair skater together with her husband Rudi Seeliger. In the 1950s Eva Pawlik and Rudi Seeliger belonged to the world´s best professional couples on the ice.
